How to Feed a Ferret: Raw Feeding

Raw feeding is a scary concept, but our ferrets are obligate carnivores. Raw “prey” is their natural diet.

Like with commercial dog and cat foods, ferret food isn’t always ideal for your pet. There’s a simple reason for this – it’s usually packed with carbohydrates, and your ferret doesn’t need carbohydrates!

Why is this?

The answer to this is simple – meat ingredients in pet food cost X amount, and grains cost around 10% of that amount.

The cheaper it is to make a pet food, the more it will sell, and the more profit it will make.

That makes raw feeding your ferret a far better option. It’s a more natural diet for them.

But only if you get it right.

In the following free eBook guide, I discuss all the aspects of a raw food diet for ferrets to get your started on this journey.

Whether you have fed raw before and want reassurance you’re doing it right, or if you’re completely new to raw feeding, then this guide will help!
